Clive Gross Photography: Newcastle and Gateshead

Newcastle and its neighbour Gateshead just across the Tyne River is another of the great northern english industrial cities that has been going through cultural lead regeneration over the past two decades having lost its traditional industries in the 1980s. This set of images tries to reflect how the new additions to the skyline fit in with those Victorian survivors and whether the result is complimentary or a clash.
