ST LEONARDS GARDENS, CHURCHES & ARCHITECTURE
St Leonards has grown well beyond the Victorian seaside town originally built by the Burton family. This selection starts with the centre piece of the Burton St Leonards development - the recently refurbished St Leonards Gardens which lie just behind the Royal Victoria Hotel and Assemblt Rooms, which reopened in June 2008. It goes onto include a range of architectural details found around what is now known as Central St Leonards - Kings Road, London Road, Norman Road and Silchester Road - which link Warrior Square, the seafront, marina, and Burton St Leonards and is the main retail centre of the town.
