EUROPEAN CITIES: LONDON
As a Londoner, the city and its famous landmarks has featured heavily in my work over many years and this gallery really only provides some highlights. The Thames is an infinately variable subject, as just the few photos below illustrate, and more of the landmarks on north and south bank feature further down. The London Eye comes in for particular attention as one of my personal favourites. The set of images featured from the much maligned Millenium Dome (now known as the O2) were taken on Chistmas Eve 2000 and are presented here both for historical interest and, like the South Bank Centre before it, an example of a great exhibition space that has become a long-term key feature of the London skyline...
