EUROPEAN CHURCHES & CASTLES
While cathederals, churches and castles are also landmark pieces or architecture, they often represent the exceptions rather than the rules, and so I have given them a dedicated gallery away from my general architecture work. They also usually have more in common with themselves than other architectural styles (not many office blocks with flying butresses), so I have selected a range of images to illustrate and compare these styles from a variety of locations across Europe. For Notre Dame and Sacre Ceour, please see my Paris gallery. For Segrada Familia and Gaudi, visit the Barcelona gallery. For examples of English village churches, please see my South Downs gallery.guilford cathedral, surrey, england - details
